A person is considered a juvenile if they are under 18 years of age.

In terms of alcohol consumption, anyone under 21 years of age is not allowed to drink alcohol. Someone under 21 years of age is considered a minor and it is illegal for them to drink alcohol.

In terms of when someone is considered a juvenile for all other criminal purposes, a person who is younger than 18 years of age is considered a juvenile.
