Legal Drinking Age

Munoz: If you’re asking who’s a minor in terms of who’s allowed to drink alcohol? Anyone under 21 years of age is not allowed to drink alcohol. They are considered a minor and it is illegal to drink alcohol.

In terms of when someone’s considered a juvenile for all criminal purposes, a person who is younger than 18 years of age is considered a juvenile.

Interviewer: When a juvenile commits a crime, are they arrested and brought to jail just like any other person or do they go to a different facility?
