Arizona woman arrested for 4th DUI involved in tragic story two years ago

PRESCOTT, AZ – The 40 year old was arrested by the Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies while waiting for her at the school bus stop from where she regularly picks her children aged 8 and 15 in her SUV driving them home from the bus stop. Her driver’s license was revoked due to three previous DUI convictions.

A Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed that Trapp and her family were in the headline news in the August of 2010 when her 2 year old son was found dead. The boy named Emmett walked out of the family home when the rest of the family was sleeping, wearing a diaper and a pajama top with a dinosaur print on it. The boy disappeared for 2 days until he was found dead a mile away from his home. No charges were pressed or arrests made. The kid died as a victim of being exposed in the rough landscape. The search parties and law enforcements, including the family, were very depressed and disturbed once the body was discovered.

Last week, Cynthia was arrested for her 4th DUI misdemeanor. According to the YCSO news release, she is being charged with three allegations including receiving a third DUI in 72 months, driving on a revoked license and driving with children under the age of 15. The sheriff’s office spokesperson said Trapp is at the Yavapai County Jail with a bond set at $ 50,000. According to the news release, her DUI involved prescription medication.
